Imagine, therefore the potential if all the tens of millions of dollars worth of communication kit could be shrunk into a single box the size of an aluminium photographers case. ARNS provides an easy and rapid way of creating a voice and high speed data network between remote towns, villages, hamlets, islands, mines or rigs.
Full roaming for off net users is provided as is phone number portability. The billing interface allows for a mix of prepaid and contract users.
Regardless of the interconnect mechanism used if this connection should ever fail (landslide, power failure, storm damage etc) the community can still connect between each other.
